Correction
Numerous judges have reported attending judicial seminars co-sponsored
by the Liberty Fund and the Center for Judicial Studies. CRC's Nothing
For FREE report states on pages 14 and 16 that these seminars are
conducted by Liberty Fund in conjunction with the Manhattan Institute's
Center for Judicial Studies. This is erroneous. Liberty Fund's seminars
are conducted in conjunction with an Indianapolis, Indiana-based
Center for Judicial Studies founded by James McClellan. The Manhattan
Institute's Center for Judicial Studies (now known as the Center
for Legal Policy) does not conduct seminars for judges in conjunction
with the Liberty Fund.
